• Notes

  Known as Jack, was a locomotive fireman with the WA Government Railways at Midland Junction for six or seven years. He then left the Railways and went working for a wool firm, after which he was a carpenters assistant at Northam before going to Albany a a crane driver for the Railways. Later he transferred to Midland Junction where he continued to work as a crane driver. [2]
